Water In A Well - Robby Turner

HOMELESSONSPEDAL STEELINTERMEDIATESOLOS
ABOUT THIS VIDEO

Robbie creates a text-book example of a great solo over a ballad with double stop legato melodies over string 8 and 5, string 2 melody lines, B and C pedal flourishes, and a tear jerking last two measure scale walk up lick from fret 6 all the way to fret 14. All demonstrated and explained. From the album: High Top Mountain by Sturgill Simpson

is your first string raising whole step at 5:20? mine is an emmons setup and only goes up a half step with that knee lever. Thanks! great lesson here!

Yes, my first string does raise a whole step. So in order to best achieve that lick you'll have to slide on the first string up a whole step. Glad you dig the lesson, thanks for watching!
