A walk-through of Greg's minimalist style that focuses on a key center rather than licks on every chord. Lot's of A and B pedal work over the open and closed position. From the Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam album: I Had a Dream That You Were Mine
Great little lesson showing how you can have two almost identical licks in the closed and open pedal position of the 1 chord by simply staying off the B pedal in open position. That keeps you in the same pentatonic scale for both licks and sounding sweet. A lightbulb went off for me with this lesson.
